Connie Tom has painted with oils for more than 40 years. Her career as a nationally recognized artist began in the early 1970’s when she began entering and showing in professionally juried shows and exhibitions. In the decades that followed, Tom has taught national workshops and seminars, and authored four painting instruction books—all of which have sold out. 



Color, light, mood and atmosphere are of major importance in her work, Tom is well-known for her luminous landscapes. She capitalizes on sunrises and sunsets. Autumn, with all its joyful, warm and luscious colors, is her favorite season to paint. Her faith plays a big part in both her life and her art. 

Her paintings are in many private and corporate collections, both nationally and internationally. She now lives and works in her studio in Willard, MO.
